| Nominations for the 2010 United Nations Association of Australia Media Peace Awards are closing soon.
The awards recognise those in the media whose work highlights and champions humanitarian and social justice issues. The major award categories include print, television, radio, photojournalism and online journalism. There are special award categories relating to the promotion of Aboriginal reconciliation, multicultural issues and positive images of older people, as well as increasing awareness of children’s rights and women’s rights. |
