September 7 saw the annual Golden Key Corporate Wine & Cheese Evening provide 120 members with valuable networking opportunities. The evening was sponsored by Pro-Vice Chancellor (Business), Professor Michael Powell, and the Griffith Business School. Highlights of the evening included the keynote addresses by Mr John Lunny (former partner DLA Phillips Fox) and Mr Andrew Morello (Winner of the 2009 Australian TV show, “The Apprentice”). There were over 20 showcase organisations on the evening including: Yellow Brick Road; Deloitte; KPMG; Defence Force Australia; Australian Security and Intelligence Service; CPA; Minter Ellison; Norton Rose; Suncorp; Thiess; Clayton Utz; Film Skills; AECOM and Bio-Rad to name a few. The corporate partners offered advice on how best to get a foot in the door while the employment panel fielded audience questions on graduate employment.
